"Buffalo Poker” By Thomas Chimera was awesome! I finished it a few weeks ago and am still digesting it. I haven’t read anything like that in a long time, if ever. It is rare to read a ‘biography’ or ‘memoir’ about a non-famous person and have it be very interesting (sad, but true). But this was an emotional whirlwind roller coaster that I was not expecting.

There are just so many elements to this book, it is truly on an epic scale. It is deep and darkly psychological at times and tackles some serious subject matters, but balances with humor and a feeling of being inspired despite the tough circumstances. But impressively it doesn’t get too convoluted, and all came together to create a fresh-feeling book that was out of the ordinary and kept me invested throughout. Recommend.
